Customised walls and the choice of colour tones for your entire home comes from the screen of your smartphone. All it takes is a simple click to renovate your rooms and find the ideal combinations: all this thanks to the augmented reality made available in the stores of Colorificio San Marco.
This is what you will find in the “Negozio Ideale San Marco”, a new display concept that combines personalised and shared technology to help end customers choose the product best suited to their needs.
The application for augmented reality, available from July, makes it possible to view the specific tag for an interior in the store, to see what it looks like in a 3D home on your smartphone, to select which rooms to renovate, and to receive suggestions for products and colour combinations.
The space is developed based on three key concepts. The Colour Wall, an area where customers get a hands-on experience of 300 different colour tones and can get a sample of the chosen paint to try directly at home.
In the heart of the display area in a professional advice area, a large interactive table conveys the retailer’s personalized recommendations based on specific requests and needs with information that appears on the integrated touch screen.
A final key element of the project are the talking shelves, designed to provide essential purchase information to the final consumer. In the front of every shelf are explanatory panels and graphics that provide the main features of each category, the specific applications typical of a “cycle” of a number of products, as a result enabling the customer to get a hands-on experience of the differences between various finishes or textures.
The retailer gets a complete service, and thanks to the modular or fitted room proposal, and a personalised and optimised study of the space is provided.
By the end of 2018 at least twenty new points of sale will be inaugurated which will be part of the Negozio Ideale San Marco project.
