Valex “on Tour” makes a stop at Dell’Oro in Lecco

The ‘Valex on Tour’, a journey through Italy to present, explain and let people try out the new Valex spring-summer range, continues in the summer. Meeting in Lecco, at the Dall’Oro Emanuele shop.

A real “physical” tour, by the Valex staff, which stop at some of the brand’s leading retailers in Italy, aiming to forge a stronger relationship with its customers and introduce the wide range of products to the general public, with a seasonal focus on garden maintenance items.

“The tour started in September last year,” explains Armando Schiavon, general manager of Valex Spa, “and, to date, we have covered more than 20,000 kilometers. It is an intense and necessary activity to give more visibility to the brand and raise awareness of the wide range of products available. As well as news, of course.”

In warm weather, Valex’s presence is expressed outside the store by setting up a gazebo where trained operators are available to customers interested in discovering and trying out the latest offerings for the season.

“It’s important to show closeness to the client’s work,” Schiavon continued, “We here are supportive of the client’s work.”

And with what results? “Very good but different,” Armando Schiavon points out. “In the sense that we don’t have a massive response as with other business and marketing activities, but definitely of high quality because there is the classic ‘direct contact’ that makes a big difference and for us represents the opportunity to gather very important feedback. Especially appreciated are those of a technical nature, which make a concrete contribution toward improving product performance and introducing new models.”

Undoubtedly one of the strengths of the “Valex Tour” is the display of a very wide range (see photos), with a certain fondness for kits that help cover cross-cutting needs. In this sense, it is very interesting to point out that the display we have seen, here in Lecco, ranges widely not only in number of products but also in intended use, covering both the private but also some professional lines, such as, for example, spirit levels.

Owned by Paolo and Andrea Dell’Oro, sons of founder Emanuele, the store has been operating in Lecco since 1954. First in 50 sq. m., it now boasts a display area of as much as 2,000 sq. m., where four employees, in addition to the owners, meet customer demand.

Located at 77 Della Pergola Street, a high-traffic commercial area, the store, in addition to serving the city, also covers militrophic areas, particularly Valsassina and Mandello sul Lario, areas with a high vocation for tourism, with many second homes, so much so that almost all of the customers are private individuals.

“Our strength is a highly loyal customer base,” folds Paolo Dell’Oro, owner along with his brother Luca. That is why we gladly joined the Valex on Tour operation; we believe it can be an interesting time for our customers to gather suggestions, ask for advice and discover new possibilities. An opportunity for in-depth study, an additional service and why not, even beneficial to decide on some purchases.”
