{"id":30704,"date":"2019-01-25T17:55:11","date_gmt":"2019-01-25T16:55:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diyandgarden.com\/?p=30704"},"modified":"2019-01-25T18:10:17","modified_gmt":"2019-01-25T17:10:17","slug":"fitt-research-financing-from-the-ministry-of-economic-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diyandgarden.com\/en\/production\/fitt-research-financing-from-the-ministry-of-economic-development\/","title":{"rendered":"FITT, research financing from the Ministry of Economic Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the\u00a0<strong>project \u201cNew generation \u2018100% Made in Italy\u2019 of functional products for the transportation of fluids\u00a0<\/strong>in EU and non-EU Garden, Building and Industrial sectors\u201d, FITT has received <strong>10 million euros funding <\/strong>from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.<\/p>\n<p>The financing is part of the tender Major Projects &#8211; Revolving Fund to Support Companies and research investments &#8211; sustainable Industry project. The FITT project was developed within FITT&#8217;s Innovation &amp; Technology department, a structure created in just two years and that today employs a staff of over 40.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>objectives<\/strong>\u00a0it intends to accomplish are: the coupling of materials for the purpose of <strong>product mult-functionality<\/strong>; the creation of new materials to enable\u00a0<strong>savings in raw materials<\/strong>; and the\u00a0<strong>development of complete systems<\/strong>\u00a0to simplify application in B2B environments and monitor performance.\u00a0These objectives are in line with the company&#8217;s development drivers, which are <strong>eco sustainability, water saving and the central role of the final user.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alessandro Mezzalira, CEO for FITT, commented that,\u00a0\u201cThis important financing is recognition of FITT\u2019s capacity to develop innovative product-oriented projects and to have demonstrated its ability to observe and anticipate the market, creating products that have no competitors in a strict sense and that require test protocols created especially for the absolute novelty they represent.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the\u00a0project \u201cNew generation \u2018100% Made in Italy\u2019 of functional products for the transportation of fluids\u00a0in EU and non-EU Garden, Building and Industrial sectors\u201d, FITT has received 10 million euros funding from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
